FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

  • When does camp start and end?
    MPC Summer Day Camp is 6 weeks.  This summer, camp will run from 6/30/25 to 8/8/25, and will be closed on 7/4/25.

  • What are camp hours?
    Official camp hours are from 9am to 3pm, Monday - Thursday, and 9am to 3pm on Field Trip Fridays, unless otherwise communicated. Certain field trips return between 3pm-4pm. 
    Pickup timeframe is from 2:55pm - 3:15pm and campers who are picked up after 3:15pm will be charged for aftercare.

  • What age can a camper start summer day camp?
    Campers must be entering 1st grade/age 6 by September 2025.

  • Do you have early care?
    Yes, Early Care is available from 7:30am-9:00am. The Early Care fee is $50/week per family.

  • Do you have aftercare?​
    Yes, After Care is available from 3:15pm-6:00pm. The After Care fee is $100/week per family. Please note that official camper pickup timeframe is from 3:00pm - 3:15pm and campers who are picked up after 3:15pm will be charged for aftercare.

  • Is there a dress code?
    Please have campers wear comfortable clothes Monday through Thursday and sneakers on gym days. There will be occasional spirit days where campers may choose to dress in whatever the theme for the day is. 
    On swim days, campers may come to camp dressed in their swimwear with appropriate cover ups and shoes.

  • Is lunch provided?
    Yes, lunch and one snack is provided Monday through Thursday and included in tuition.  Campers with allergy concerns should bring a packed lunch and snacks.
    ​On Field Trip Fridays, campers must bring a "brown bag lunch" with disposable containers and water bottles/juice boxes. 

  • Do campers go swimming every week?
    Yes, each grade level has a swim day once a week at a local community pool and is included in tuition. Campers should come prepared with swim suits, towels, sunscreen, goggles, proper footwear and a change of clothes on swim days.

  • Are field trips included in tuition?
    No, field trips are not included in tuition and range from $30-$55 per trip. All field trip fees are due on the first day of camp along with tuition. Campers must bring a "brown bag lunch" on field trip days with disposable containers and water bottles/juice boxes. 

  • Are field trips mandatory?
    No, field trips are optional and campers do not need to attend. Please note that care is not provided at camp on Fridays while everyone else is at the field trip. If a child is unable to attend due to sickness after signing up, please understand that we cannot provide a refund since payments are made in advance to book the trips.​

    No, transportation is not available.
